But paper and complex legal agreements are cumbersome\, difficult to transfer and can be hard to track. One solution would be to switch to a digital system along the lines of Bitcoin but linked to an asset. The process of converting the rights to the asset into a digital token on a blockchain is called Tokenization. \nAt our October meeting\, James Canterbury of EY’s Advisory Practice will discuss his experiences with Blockchain Tokenization.
