Technology\, culture\, and now the pandemic have not only allowed the acceptance of remote work\, but it has also made it ubiquitous. Some paradigms die hard. Before the pandemic\, many organizations\, while having the technology to work remote\, lacked the culture. Hopefully soon\, we will have the ability to “Return to the Office” (RTO). Is this necessary? What does that look like? Is it a “blended” or “hybrid” approach to work? And with new found work flexibility\, has the concept of “work/life balance” also gone the way of the pre-Digital Era? In short\, what does RTO look like? \nAt our next roundtable\, Dr\, Frank Granito will lead a discussion on Return To Work that will inform his research project on the subject.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row type=”in_container” full_screen_row_position=”middle” column_margin=”default” column_direction=”default” column_direction_tablet=”default” column_direction_phone=”default” scene_position=”center” text_color=”dark” text_align=”left” row_border_radius=”none” row_border_radius_applies=”bg” overlay_strength=”0.3″ gradient_direction=”left_to_right” shape_divider_position=”bottom” bg_image_animation=”none”][vc_column column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_tablet=”inherit” column_padding_phone=”inherit” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ column_shadow=”none” column_border_radius=”none” column_link_target=”_self” gradient_direction=”left_to_right” overlay_strength=”0.3″ width=”1/2″ tablet_width_inherit=”default” tablet_text_alignment=”default” phone_text_alignment=”default” column_border_width=”none” column_border_style=”solid” bg_image_animation=”none”][vc_column_text]About the Moderator:\nDr. Frank Granito is Chief Scientist and Lead Fellow at the Institute for Digital Transformation. Their 20-person team is backed by Y Combinator\, Newark Venture Partners\, among other venture firms. \nMobot’s blackbox testing approach covers the last mile of manual QA\, addressing scenarios and bugs that often slip through the cracks. This includes test cases like push notifications/deep linking\, multi-phone interactions\, Bluetooth connectivity\, camera testing\, iOS 14 widgets\, multi-factor authentication and more. Mobot’s testing service leverages supervised\, mechanical robots to execute mobile QA on physical devices: For more information\, visit teammobot.com. \nAgenda:\n5:00 – 5:30     Networking\n5:30 – 6:30     Presentation and Q&A[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row type=”in_container” full_screen_row_position=”middle” column_margin=”default” column_direction=”default” column_direction_tablet=”default” column_direction_phone=”default” scene_position=”center” text_color=”dark” text_align=”left” row_border_radius=”none” row_border_radius_applies=”bg” overlay_strength=”0.3″ gradient_direction=”left_to_right” shape_divider_position=”bottom” bg_image_animation=”none”][vc_column column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_tablet=”inherit” column_padding_phone=”inherit” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ column_shadow=”none” column_border_radius=”none” column_link_target=”_self” gradient_direction=”left_to_right” overlay_strength=”0.3″ width=”1/1″ tablet_width_inherit=”default” tablet_text_alignment=”default” phone_text_alignment=”default” column_border_width=”none” column_border_style=”solid” bg_image_animation=”none”][vc_custom_heading text=”Cost” font_container=”tag:h3|text_align:left|color:%23005b94″ use_theme_fonts=”yes”][vc_column_text]FREE for all SIM New Jersey members. \nPlease register for the event below. \nWebinar information will be included in your registration confirmation and sent to all registered members shortly before the meeting date.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]

When he became CEO of Kronos in 2005\, Ain and team put a laser focus on employee engagement as a growth strategy and saw worldwide employee engagement scores skyrocket as revenue nearly tripled to beyond $1.5 billion. \nPassionate about delivering the experience that customers expect\, Ain asserts that employee retention leads to loyal and satisfied customers. According to Ain\, “Employees who feel valued stay longer and develop a deeper understanding of and stronger relationships with our customers. It is their experience and knowledge that allows UKG to deliver incredibly innovative products and a superior customer experience.” Ain’s focus on the customer experience is the reason that a customer-first orientation is a core value intricately woven into the fabric of the company. \nUKG CIO\, John McGregor has made a significant impact on the company’s strategic direction\, leading the effort to build Kronos Cloud\, which is home to customers worldwide\, and helping to drive the company’s successful transformation into a software-as-a-service (SaaS) company. As part of that evolution\, he restructured his department as an IT-as-a-service organization—implementing a model for IT operations that was well ahead of the industry curve.\nIn April 2020\, Kronos and Ultimate Software merged to become UKG\, a combined company with more than 12\,000 employees and $3 billion in revenue.[/vc_column_text][vc_custom_heading text=”Registration” font_container=”tag:h2|text_align:left|color:%23005b94″ use_theme_fonts=”yes”][vc_column_text]Please register on the National SIM Page.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row type=”in_container” full_screen_row_position=”middle” column_margin=”default” column_direction=”default” column_direction_tablet=”default” column_direction_phone=”default” scene_position=”center” text_color=”dark” text_align=”left” row_border_radius=”none” row_border_radius_applies=”bg” overlay_strength=”0.3″ gradient_direction=”left_to_right” shape_divider_position=”bottom” bg_image_animation=”none”][vc_column column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_tablet=”inherit” column_padding_phone=”inherit” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ column_shadow=”none” column_border_radius=”none” column_link_target=”_self” gradient_direction=”left_to_right” overlay_strength=”0.3″ width=”1/1″ tablet_width_inherit=”default” tablet_text_alignment=”default” phone_text_alignment=”default” column_border_width=”none” column_border_style=”solid” bg_image_animation=”none”][vc_custom_heading text=”Cost: Free to NJ SIM Members!” font_container=”tag:h2|text_align:left|color:%23005b94″ use_theme_fonts=”yes”][/vc_column][/vc_row]

SUMMARY:Business Technology Leadership for Digital Transformation
DESCRIPTION:This Webinar will address the leadership challenges that CIOs and CTOs face as key participants in the digital transformation of small\, medium and large enterprises. It will focus upon the leadership skills and competencies necessary to launch and manage successful transformation programs. It will focus on the hard skills\, the soft skills and the organizational structures necessary to transform business processes and whole business models. It will challenge many of the assumptions the industry has made about what CIOs and CTOs should be\, as well as the best practices that have become obsolete in the last five years. \nThe Webinar will focus on how CIOs and CTOs can avoid extinction with emerging technologies and whole new governance models. It will focus on what constitutes digital transformation\, and how CIOs and CTOs can deliver business value well beyond technology infrastructure. It will focus on the skills and competencies CIOs and CTOs must master to become true C-suite executives\, as well as the “emotional” challenges they must overcome. The Webinar will ultimately offer a playbook for successful digital transformation. \nStephen J. Andriole’s career has focused on the development\, application and management of information technology and analytical methodology to problems in government and industry: Dr. Andriole has addressed them from academia\, government\, his own consulting companies\, a global insurance and financial services company\, from the perspective of a public venture operating company\, a private equity venture capitalist and an Angel investor. Digital transformation and the adoption of emerging technology is the focus of his current teaching\, research and consulting. \nCost\nFREE to all SIM NJ Members. \nRegistration\nPlease register (below) for this Webinar.\nPlease note that this is a Member Only event.
