About the Speaker:
Valene Skerpac
Valene is a cyber security executive with extensive experience and success in leading security in fast-pace, dynamic environments to ensure organizational priorities and mandates are met and assets protected. She is currently founder and CEO atSecurity Cthink, providing guidance to organizations enabling innovation andbusiness by leveraging modern technologies, such as AI and Cloud. As a senior security executive at Accenture, Valene led and advised global institutions on leading edge projects for over a decade. Earlier in her career, she was both a CIO and CISO at a smaller insurance company and she founded a biometrics firm where she patented a voice-based biometric authentication solution employing AI providing her with a deep appreciation for embedding security to benefit society.
