About the Recruiter
Beverly Lieberman is President of Halbrecht Lieberman Associates, Inc., an internationally recognized executive search firm founded in 1957. The firm provides retained executive search services across multiple industries while specializing in Information Technology.
Ms. Lieberman joined Halbrecht Associates in 1986 and became the owner in 1991. She has successfully managed searches for Fortune 500 companies as well as early-stage businesses. Industries served include healthcare, insurance, higher education, financial services, managed service providers, retail, manufacturing, government, management consulting, high technology, law and communications.
In addition to executive search, Ms. Lieberman has established an executive coaching practice. She coaches senior executives in the areas of performance improvement and career development.
Ms. Lieberman has a B.A. and M.A. from the University of Michigan and graduated from the prestigious MIT Sloan School Executive Management Program.
Prior to joining Halbrecht Associates, Ms. Lieberman was a Human Resource executive with a Fortune 500 multinational conglomerate and a leading New England bank, where she managed major recruitment efforts for professional and senior level technical staff.
Ms. Lieberman is a frequent speaker at professional societies and conferences and is often quoted in major business and trade publications. She has been a featured writer for CIO Magazine. Ms. Lieberman is a long-standing member of the Society for Information Management (SIM) and currently serves on the Board of Directors. In addition, Ms. Lieberman is a Board member of the University of Bridgeport’s Industry Advisory Board. Ms. Lieberman was selected by Executive Recruiter News as one of the 50 leading retained search professionals.
